Is an insurance adjuster giving you a hard time?

Is an insurance company adjuster pushing you around or generally being a jerk?  Automobile insurance company adjusters will often try to browbeat you into settling your injury claim early.  They may use such tactics as pushing you to settle now because this is all that they will pay, or saying that you were partially at fault for just being at the scene of the accident and so they are going to reduce the payment to you, or just making what you believe is a very low offer and telling you that this is all the company will pay.  These kinds of tactics are used by insurance companies and unfortunately these can be successful in getting people to sign off on their injury claims at a value much less than what the claims are worth.
